Every year from 2005 the religious celebration of Corpus Domini of the village of Felline has been enriched with a procession that end on a wonderful flower carpet.
The organization of this event (called Infiorata) involves all the community of this small village for more than a week: some people prepare the drawings, some other collect and select plants and flowers and, at the end, all the petals are kept inside fridges to maintain their freshness until the day of the procession.
The result is really amazing and the atmosphere becomes magical thanks to the reflexions of wet flowers and candles placed along the streets.
Here you can see some photos of this flower carpet and a video that shows how it was made.
